Preschool education consists of specifically designed educational experiences to stimulate, and teach readiness skills before the child enters kindergarten. Our curriculum follows the New Jersey Early Childhood Expectations: Standards of Quality. It includes instruction in language arts, literacy, math, in developing social and emotional skills, dramatic play, science, art, social studies, gross (large muscle) and fine motor skills, music and movement.
The Creative Curriculum for preschool is our blueprint for planning and implementing a developmentally appropriate program. It supports children in acquiring social competence and other skills they need to succeed as learners. It recognizes emerging skills and keeps children challenged. |
