Mr. Jewel Jones - Principal
Mr. Jones has been in the district since 1981. Certified as a teacher of the handicapped; early childhood; supervisor; school administrator. B.A., Cheyney U. (Early Childhood Education); M.A., Rutgers U. (School Administration).  He came to NJ Regional Day School in 1991 as our Assistant Principal and in 1993 he took over the position of Principal. 

Main Office

Ms. Joann DiSilvestro, Principal's Secretary   Employeed by the District in March 1985 as a teaching assistant.  In 1998, Ms. DiSilvestro moved into the position of principal's secretary.  Prior experience as secretary in the Education Office of the Archdiocese of Camden and offices in the Camden County Comples at Lakeland.

 

 Certificated Staff

Mr. John Covington - Crisis Counselor    Started with Regional Day School in September 1984.  B.A., Glassboro State (Social Studies); M.A., Glassboro State (Student Personnel Services); Student Personnel Services certificate.  4 years prior experience as a school guidance counselor. 

Mrs. Kim Frank - Speech-Language Therapist  B.S., College of New Jersey (Speech-language pathology); graduate coursework, Kean U. (speech-language pathology; audiology); teacher certification program, Rowan University. Employed by the District in September 1989. Certified as teacher of the handicapped. Certified as Wilson Language Provider. 

Dr. Bruce Hooper - Vocational Education   B.A., Notre Dame (Liberal Arts); M.A., Rutgers (Eng.); M.Ed., Rutgers (Creative Arts Ed.); Ed.D., Rutgers (Creative Arts Ed.). Certified as teacher of Special Education, English and Elementary Education. Employed by the District in March 1986.  Dr. Hooper has 34 years teaching experience.

Mrs. Karen Carullo - Nurse  Graduate of Cooper Hospital School of Nursing.  Mrs. Carullo is a certificated R.N. and has worked in the district for twelve years.

Ms. Lisa Landberg - Classroom Teacher  B.S., East Stroudsburg University. (Special Education).  Employed by the District in September 2003.  Certified in special education and elementary education; certified in the Wilson Language Program.

Mr. Chick Molway - Physical Education  B.S., Northern Michigan U. (Physical Education); M.S.W., Temple U. (Social Work); Employed by the District in September 1988. Certified as Teacher of Physical Education and Health; Social Worker. Special Olympics Coach for RDS students; trained in Adventure Based Counseling Through Recreational Activities; Strength and Conditioning Coach at the H.S., College and Professional Level. Coaches RDS Interscholastic Sports Teams. 

Ms. Debbie Sirois - Classroom Teacher  B.A., Georgian Court College (special education); Employed by the District in March 1985.  Special education certification. Certified Wilson Reading instructor. Currently teaches the pre-Job Sampling Program.

Ms. Kim Taylor - Classroom Teacher  B.S., Kean U. (Special Ed.); M.A., Rowan U. (Pupil Personnel Services). Certified in Special Education and Pupil Personnel Services.  Mrs. Taylor has been in the District since September 1984.  Certified in Wilson Language Instruction.

Ms. Barbara Warburton - Classroom Teacher  B.A., Rowan U. (Elementary Ed.); M.A., Rowan U. (Special Ed.); certified as a teacher of special education, early childhood ed., and instructional supervisor; 38 years experience teaching Special Education.  Ms. Warburton came to the District in September 1991.  Certified as a teacher of the Wilson Language Program.

Ms. Abby Zahn - Classroom Teacher  Ms. Zahn has been with the District since September 1989.  B.A., University of So. Florida (Communications); over 24 years experience teaching special education; special education certification; prior experience at LARC School working with autistic and communications disabled students. Acts and sings in community theatre.
