Welcome to School 1

Winslow Township School #1 was opened in January of 1968. At this time, there were 25 classrooms which served children in Kindergarten to Grade 6. In later years, a new Media Center was added along with 2 more classrooms and several small group instructional areas. Currently, School #1 serves children from Preschool to Grade 2. In addition to our Media Center, we have an Art Room, Music Room, Gym/All Purpose Room, and a fully equipped Technology Lab.

Today our school family consists of approximately 65 employees who work together to make our school a happy place for students to learn and prepare for the future. We are supported in our efforts to educate nearly 400 students by the strong involvement and dedication of our fine Home and School Association.

Together we will continue to prepare our children to meet the challenges of the future and to be an asset to our world.
