Dear School One Parents,
As the summer quickly comes to an end, I am very excited about the upcoming 2010-2011 school year! I anticipate a year full of learning, excitement and new experiences for your children. Our highly qualified teaching staff is well prepared to provide quality instruction for your children. We at School One also look forward to, and value, the partnership we will create with you. Children are most successful in school when parents and teachers communicate regularly and work together to resolve concerns.
The first day of school for all students is Tuesday, September 7, 2010. School One’s Back to School Night is scheduled for Tuesday, September 28, 2010 at 6:30 PM. This will be an opportunity for you to meet your child’s teacher, visit their classroom and get instructional/academic information.
My primary goal this year continues to be student achievement and developing strong and positive relationships with parents. School One provides a positive, safe and friendly environment for children and our dedicated staff is committed to teaching the whole child, meeting both their academic and social needs.
I am hoping we continue working together as a true learning community, where children are valued and educated, staff and parents work together, and we share the pride of our great school, Winslow Township Elementary School One.
