In the counseling corner, you will find information about the services offered to your child throughout the year through the counseling program. Some services include: 

Individual Counseling- referrals can be made by teachers, school staff, parents, or students. Counseling services are short term, voluntary, and confidential. A permission slip will be obtained prior to extended individual and group counseling.

Small Group Counseling-Small groups will be offered throughout the year based on the needs of the students. Some groups may include Self-esteem, anger management, friendship, divorce, study skills, and grief.

Classroom Guidance-Throughout the year students will participate in classroom guidance lessons covering various topics.

Homework Helpers-Responsible 6^th and 5^th grade students work with younger students to establish and maintain good homework habits.

Character Education- School #6 delivers character education in the classroom with the Mega Skills program. September Mega Skill is Responsibility.
