Best Bucks Reward Program
Students will be awarded one BEST BUCK based upon academics and/or behavior. Keep in mind anyone in the building can give a BEST BUCK, even special area teachers and staff.
The goal is to increase positive behaviors through this reward system while decreasing those behaviors that are not appropriate for school.
Every other Friday, I will roll my BEST CART to each class room and the children will be able to either save their BEST BUCKS for something bigger or buy something off the cart.
Leadership Program
A Gold Coin will be awarded to Third Grade students;
-when a staff member observes a third grader helping a younger student/s.
- going out of their way to demonstrate kindness to a staff member or student.
-makes a good choice in a difficult classroom, lunchroom or playground situation.
-demonstrates responsibility by being helpful without being asked.
-demonstrates leadership by making good choices or encouraging peers to make good choices.
-demonstrates self control .
The goal of the Gold Coin Program is to recognize and build student’s character and confidence.
Once a week, on Wednesdays, all students who have earned Gold Coins will exchange the coins for a bi-weekly raffle ticket. Two names will be drawn twice a month for a prize.
