Music Education is a vital component in helping to create a well-rounded child who is successful academically as well as in the arts. Not only does it promote creativity and is fun to do, music develops learning on many different cognitive levels. Opportunities to sing, dance, clap and make music keeps everyone involved whether they are a novice or the most accomplished musician in the room. During music classes, students work cooperatively and learn the importance of valuing and respecting their classmates. Our music program incorporates what is being learned in the classroom as well.
We at School One enjoy singing, playing, creating and sharing in a kid-friendly environment. Guided by a gifted teacher who is a certified Orff-Schulwerk music instructor, the children experiences the joy a real musician would experience performing the art of music.
