School Family Connection

Parents can share their childhood memories about confidence.  Children need to hear that everyone, even parents, have been scared and have had to work to build and rebuild confidence.

Parents should share experiences, to tell children when they felt confident, really able to do something like jump off the high diving board or ace the math test….and also to tell about the time when they felt not so confident, when they had trouble standing up in front of the class to give a speech.  These are memories that bless and burn, and they teach a lot.
