WTMS Geography Bee - April 2, 2026
On Thursday, April 2, The WTMS Social Studies Department held their annual Geography Bee. All 7th and 8th grade students had to opportunity to take the qualifying test in their social studies classes, and ultimately 30 students were invited to compete. Their parents and guardians were invited to the event and enjoy refreshments. All students watched via live stream from their classrooms.
Mr. Eric Steiner was the host along with three
judges from our social studies department: Ms. Reiter, Mr. Sauter, and Mr.
Schmotzer.
The top three students were all awarded Chic-Fil-A gift cards and our first-place winner was also awarded a trophy created by
our very own Robotic STEM students.
